California Central Valley - Lodi, Madera, Other Regions Winery Weddings

The 400 mile-long Central Valley is one of the largest agricultural valleys in the world. Nestled between the coastal mountain range and the Sierra Nevada, it stretches from Sacramento in the north to Bakersfield in the south. While vineyards are to be found in abundance, wineries are far and few between - the grapes largely destined for uses other wine or sent elsewhere.
However, Winery Wedding Guide searched the area to find that delightful winery wedding venues do exist. Most are located in the environs of the city of Lodi in San Joaquin County where six of the region's some 70 wineries host weddings. A scattering of venues are to be found near Sacramento, California's state capital, and the mid-valley cities of Fresno and Madera.
In addition,several Central Valley wineries, while not available for weddings, do host wedding-related events, such as receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, family gatherings. Look for them following the Winery Wedding possibilities listed below:
