Here, in a vast area known as the Columbia Valley, the majority of Washington's vineyards and winery-wedding venues are to be found. An awesomely beautiful area, possible venues range from spectacular settings overlooking the Columbia Gorge to those located in unexpectedly lush enclaves carpeted with vineyards. Most are conveniently located near once overlooked small towns -among them Yakima, WallaWalla, and the "tri-cities" of Richland, Pasco and Kennwick - recently rediscovered as charming, wine country destinations.
